Here is some feedback we received on MLB PowerStat Challenge.

"Guys, the PSC is great and I have been doing well playing them, but how about cutting down the number of games to make it faster to play? More contests, fewer games per contest."

Sounded reasonable, so we are giving it a try this Saturday with $5 Big PowerStat Challenge. Instead of a single-day event with all 16 games on the board (or a weekend event with 32) , we have selected eight games in a one-day tournament. So if you are mainly focused on the Yankees, Red Sox, Mets, Phillies and Rays, this is right up your fantasy baseball alley.

All-Star PropMaster Tournament

Congrats to TequilaCat for winning our first-ever MLB All-Star Game PropMaster contest. We asked all kinds of questions about that epic match at Yankee Stadium and he came out well on top with 115 points.

We will do this game again for NHL, NBA and other leagues as the format was well-received. We asked who would win the Home Run Derby (Justin Morneau of Minnesota) and how the first run of the game would be scored (Matt Holliday HR). Head-to-head battles of Chipper Jones vs. A-Rod (won by Chipper) and Made in Japan of Fukudome vs. Ichiro (won by Ichiro) and others were also fun battles that made watching the All-Star game more interesting.

Always good to have some fantasy stake in any event.

Just missed golf, NASCAR is up

If you are a golf fan, you just missed the British Open Free Agent Challenge. Pick two golfers each day of the four rounds to accumulate fantasy golf stats for you. But you can only use a golfer once so you strategically insert him in the lineup on a day you think he will dominate.
