Red Raiders knock off Spartans

Taylor Potts threw two touchdown passes on Saturday to lead the Texas Tech Red Raiders to a 41-31 win over the Michigan State Spartans in the Alamo Bowl.

The Red Raiders managed to cover the 8-point spread in this contest, while the combined score went OVER the day's posted total (59.5).

Baron Batch ran for a pair of scores in the win for Texas Tech on Saturday. Kirk Cousins had a TD strike in the loss for Michigan State.
