| Indians even series with White Sox |
The Cleveland Indians rallied with three runs in the fourth inning, as they defeated the Chicago White Sox 5-3 Wednesday night. Cleveland won the game as +135 underdogs, while the eight runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (8). Matt LaPorta went 2-for-4 at the plate with one RBI for the Indians. Fausto Carmona allowed just one hit and three runs in six innings for the win, and Chris Perez closed out the game for the save. Paul Konerko had a two-run homer and drove in all three runs for the White Sox. Randy Williams surrendered the winning run and was tagged with the loss. |
