Giants tame D-Backs

Eli Whiteside belted a solo home run and drove in three runs to lead the San Francisco Giants over the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-1 Wednesday night.

San Francisco won the game as -160 favorites, and the five runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).

Eugenio Velez drove in the other run for the Giants. Brad Penny tossed a complete-game to earn the victory.

Kevin Mulvey allowed five hits and four runs over six innings in the loss.
