Alexei Ramirez and A.J. Pierzynski belted three-run homers to lead the Chicago White Sox in a 15-3 rout of the Seattle Mariners Wednesday for a sweep of the three-game series at U.S. Cellular Field. Chicago won the game as -240 favorites, and the 18 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (10.5). Ken Griffey Jr. hit a two-run dinger and finished with three RBIs for the White Sox. Gavin Floyd had seven strikeouts over six innings, allowing three runs off six hits in the win. Raul Ibanez had two hits and drove in all three runs for Seattle. R.A. Dickey was rocked for eight runs over two innings in suffering the loss. |
